What Does An Entrepreneur Really Mean As A Healer?
If you are thinking about starting your own business, here’s what it takes to be an entrepreneur and how you can build your own business. Usually, the first step in creating a successful business is identifying the industry that you want to work in.
Except instead, the industry picked you. Or in other words, the spirit said, you are doing this, and you said no I’m not and it said YES YOU ARE! And so here you are. I don’t know about other people, but I didn’t grow up thinking about either of these things.
The next step in what you’re supposed to think about is what you are passionate about and what you have experience with doing. I did that, but for the life of me, I didn’t know anyone who was a black vegan Reiki energy healer who didn’t understand anything about social media.
Once I identified the energy healing industry as the industry I was in, I thought about my goals for the future, which was how to live in a way that allowed me to flow and ebb as well as help my fellow human beings while paying my bills too. All I had to do was figure out a way to make this industry help me achieve my very simple goals. Easy? Right?
I was fortunate that I already had most of what I required to get started, mainly a computer, internet connection, a background as a graphic designer and several certifications as a Reiki Master teacher, an Emotion Code Practitioner and several other certifications. When I was getting all these certifications, it was with the intention of using them for personal reasons. Spirit had other ideas. I was totally clueless.
Not everyone is as fortunate as I was. The industry you may want to be in might not require large amounts of capital, so don't let yourself get discouraged if you don't have a lot of money saved up just yet! Assess what you currently have, what you need and decide what you need to do to get there. This part of the process will be different for each person. Once you’ve made your assessment and have narrowed down your industry. It’s time to get started.
When you’re an entrepreneur in the energy healing industry, you have to be someone who has the courage to take risks and make decisions without being affected by fear of failure. You also have to deal with imposter syndrome and non-support from well-meaning relations. Of course, it’s easier said than done. However, it is possible to do it!
